IDENTITY
I selected the theme of Identity for this issue not only to allow others to explore the topic but also to push myself in my understanding of my Identity. so many entities embody who we are, where we come from, and where we’re going. if you try to wrap your head around all of the different moving parts of yourself, i’m sure you’re left running in circles, like a dog chasing its own tail. however, if you take the time to dissect those little building blocks that make up your being, you get just a little closer to discovering yourself.
this issue’s contributors did just that, focusing on the parts of themselves that the world doesn’t see by just a glance. they went deeper, deconstructing myths, truths, and the in-between. to the contributors of this issue, I want to thank you for allowing us a glimpse into yourself. to the readers of this issue, I hope that through reading, you will find parts of yourself that you did not know were there - I know I did.
