ELSEWHERE [els-hwair, -wair]

adverb

  1. somewhere else; in or to some other place:

    | you will have to look elsewhere for an answer.

In this issue, we want to explore movement—both physical and internal—the act of searching, and the things we lose and find along the way. It’s about the tension between longing for a place to call home and the thrill of getting lost in the unknown.

The goal is to capture the essence of being between worlds—between cities, between relationships, between versions of yourself.

Life is a constant cycle of searching, losing, and finding. We lose people, places, and parts of ourselves—sometimes painfully, sometimes beautifully. But in those losses, we also gain things: new paths, new identities, new connections.

This is an exploration of that cycle, embracing the messiness of getting lost and the magic of unexpected discoveries.
